juice no more

juice no more

Business in LA can be strange and sudden. I read an article on a how a juice chain suddenly closed all of its locations overnight with zero explanation. Then I noticed that my favorite juice place for cleanses was closed too. Apparently it closed suddenly about a month ago, also with zero explanation.

This happens with restaurants too, even thriving ones. Sometimes it’s about landlords jacking up rent, but sometimes there’s other mysterious reasons why restaurants close. A nail salon near my place was open for about a week, then closed saying it would reopen soon and was accepting applications, but never actually reopened. And it’s still full of all the equipment and furniture. So much mystery.
